The new disco ball emoji has finally exited beta and will be on iPhones everywhere. This is a part of their Apple iOS 15.4 update. The silver mirrored ball is just one of many new features and emojis that will be coming with the update. Android users have had the disco ball since late 2021.
As of Monday, March 14th, iPhone users can unlock their phone with a masked face, there is a slew of new AirTag security updates, and we’ve got some dank new emojis to boot.
There are a total of 37 new emojis in the mix. They include biting your lip seductively, melting your face, and peeping through your eyes. There is a pregnant man, an ogre, and a hamsa.
The origins of the disco ball emoji started in 2019 with a proposal to Apple from the company Emojination. It received an outpouring of support with over 10,000 signatures signed. They gave us a teaser in July of 2021. And it now it is here. Enjoy the boogie vibes added to your arsenal and keep on dancing.
