We see for the fourth time Markus Schulz, who under his own hands and that of the other collaborators, gives us a series of songs that make this compilation something worth a lot when listening to it. Although the most surprising collaborator is without a doubt Kryder, who has been a bit absent when it comes to his progressive style. While Kyau & Albert works on this build as the “how has this not happened before?” of this year. All of them together manage to contribute their own vision of the concept, which can be described as excellent.
“IT IS A PRIVILEGE TO MAKE A CONTRIBUTION TO THE HIGHEST CALIBER OF MIX COMPILATIONS FOR THE FOURTH TIME. “IN SEARCH OF SUNRISE 17” IS THE CULMINATION OF A YEAR’S CAREFUL PREPARATION & COMPOSITION AND IS AN EXPRESSION OF MY LOVE FOR THE ART OF TRANCE MUSIC.”
Markus Schulz
In Search Of Sunrise 17 Songs and Artists
Something remarkable about the combination of styles is the fact of looking for “the sunrise” in resources that go even beyond the trance. Among the tracks, we can find big names like Above & Beyond, Solarstone, BT, and Andy Moor. Also, classic names like York, Darren Tate, Johan Gielen, and Mesh, and newer entities – Tinlicker and Dosem among them.
At this mix’s outset are new artists captains recordings. In the case of Markus Schulz, we found ‘The Fourth Star’ & ‘Return From The Sand Sea’, as well as his purpose-built ‘In Search Of Sunrise’ revisions of ‘Crystallize’ from DT8 Project and Christian Burns‘The Magic’. Kyau & Albert do their thing with various tracks from their own Euphonic label. Including new sun-tipped productions from Steve Brian, Bryn Liedl, and Ron With Leeds. In summary, Summer just wouldn’t be summer without this compilation.
