Pasquale Rotella, Insomniac founder, took to Instagram to announce some major news for Electric Daisy Carnival. EDC Las Vegas will become the first-ever music festival to be held on Roblox. The event is fittingly named World Party EDC and it will take place from October 22nd – 25th. You will be able to customize your own avatar, choose festival outfits, and even have dance battles with your friends.
The world space is already open and you can check it out here! World Party EDC will feature the same festivals as actual EDC Las Vegas. You can get prepared to dance the night away at cosmicMEADOW, circuitGROUNDS, Camp EDC, and Pixel Forest. The really cool part is the same music that will be played at the actual EDC will be featured in Roblox metaverse.
You will be able to enjoy over 50 live sets from Zedd, DJ Snake, Alison Wonderland, Alan Walker, Rezz, Gryffin, and so many more. In addition, some artists will even be on the servers for meet and greets. Those at virtual EDC will be able to participate in games that could win them real and virtual merchandise. On top of this, virtual ravers will be able to build their own campsite at Camp EDC.
This is a must-check-out event if you are unable to be in Las Vegas this weekend. This could very well be the future of music festivals.
