At a time when Europe seems, once again, to be backsliding into COVID lockdowns and isolation, there is a glimmer of hope for next year. Europe’s (and possibly the world’s) marquee music festival, Tomorrowland, has just been given a badly needed boost. Tomorrowland has been granted approval for three (3) weekends of the festival inBelgium during the Summer of 2022. Reportedly, all three weekends will take place in July.
This has long been rumored as something Tomorrowland desired, and now the dream is becoming a reality.
According to Tomorrowland, the third weekend is necessary for 2022 to compensate Tomorrowland for lost income during two summers of being canceled. Not only was Tomorrowland Belgium canceled, but Tomorrowland Winter was canceled for 2 years and 2022 even hangs in the balance. Tomorrowland was expectedly elated about the news.
