ROLAND LAUNCHES PLUGIN CLONE OF THE FAMOUS JUNO-60 CHORUS

March 16, 2022 - News

Roland has announced a new plugin as part of their Roland Cloud subscription service. The new plug mimics the famous Juno-60 chorus effect, which became a staple part of the sound of the whole Juno range, famously heard on Mr Fingers’ ‘Can You Feel It?’.

The JUNO-60 Chorus plugin copies the styling of the famous polysynth, with both chorus types as well as a third button that combines the two effects. There’s a fader to increase or decrease the amount of ‘noise’ – the Juno’s chorus is famously hissy – and a mix control to dial in the amount of chorus you want.

The plugin is part of Roland’s Cloud subscription if you take out the Ultimate tier, but can also be bought as a lifetime license for $99. The plugin comes in AU, VST3 and AAX formats and is compatible with Apple Silicon chips.

Find out more about the JUNO-60 Chorus plugin on the Roland Cloud website.

Roland recently launched a microsite on 303 day, celebrating the history of the famous acid machine.
